WHERE HARD YAKKA BUILT THE TOWN Back in the day, this was where Bowen’s cattle met the coastline, the heart of the meatworks that kept locals in a job and the pub in good stories. These days it’s a top little spot to chuck in a line, watch the sun go down, and soak up a bit of real Queensland history. Just proper old-school Merinda.

TANKS FOR MATES Scattered round town, these old tanks are pure Aussie nostalgia. Local artists have given them a new lease on life, telling the yarns that make Merinda what it is. They’re just bigger, bolder, and a little more sunburnt.
